Pressing Station
This tip took me years to implement! It has resulted in flatter blocks and easier piecing. You don’t need a lot of space. I have a mini ironing board that lays across the top of my printer/scanner. My iron can even be tucked behind on the desk so it doesn’t stick out temptig little hands when not in use. This desk is on the opposite wall from my sewing machine. Easy access is key.
Now I just stack up some things to press or iron from a couple projects and go for it. Or, if I only have one thing that needs done it’s not an ordeal to press it.
Quick and Neat.
Make room for this tip. Your quilt tops will thank you.
With Joy,
Sarah Vee
