My design wall is empty this week. I’m working on using some selvages for a placemat. This photo shows some cut and laying on foundations.
These are the other selvages from my most recent projects. I’m hoping to have enough here to make another placemat.
There’s always this bin of selvages to look in. I’ve been saving them since finding out about the Selvage Blog. Not sure I’ll ever have enough to make something quilt size, but it’s fun to keep them for smaller projects.
This is my string block for last week. So far I’ve kept up with one block a week. I cut some more background foundations and have a few strips for next week’s block already.
