This has been a really fun week for me.
I would like to especially thank the gracious Hostesses:
Nanette at Freda’s Hive
and Tong at Ting Tong and Things
Without their support there wouldn’t have been a Placemat Party Blog Hop!
Make sure you check their blogs to enter their giveaways too.
Congratulations to SARAH!
Thanks to everyone for hopping along with me!

You could also check out my daughter’s blog and see the placemat that I made her from her fabrics. Warning – it’s bright!:)
My husband also suggested I make one using 6 different fabrics for the snowball blocks.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ELIZABETH!
Today I’m posting my first recipe ever on the blog.
Trust me, it’s been hard to refrain!
I love food almost {almost!} as much as fabric:)
We use a cooking stone to place the pizza on the barbecue. Put it on the bbq while you are waiting for it to come to cooking temperature. I put the pizzas onto inexpensive round baking trays because it’s tricky to get the pizzas onto the bbq!
I love to make my pizza dough from a recipe I found online last year. It makes 2 pizza crusts.
You can make your own sauce, use store bought or try using bbq sauce.
Load with seasonal veggies, meat or veggies and meat. Put on your desired amount of cheese.
Cook on medium high heat for around 10 minutes. Watch for the cheese to bubble.
It’s hot when it comes off so make sure to use oven mitts and wait for it too cool before cutting into it.
{I know, not much of a recipe per se, but the inspiration and method are there!}

My husband and I also enjoy Iced Coffee {sounds better than cold coffee doesn’t it?!}
We put the coffee that’s left from the morning into a pitcher in the fridge.
We also put some in an ice tray to make coffee ice cubes.

Combine 2 coffee ice cubes with some cream and pour your cold coffee over it.
Sip and enjoy!
I’ve enjoyed hosting this Blog Hop and hope to do one again in the future.
Tomorrow I have set up a special post to announce the winner of the Grand Prize. It will also have several links for you to enjoy over the weekend with more party ideas from blogland.
With Joy,
Sarah Vee
