But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. . .
I received a lucky loonie in the mail yesterday. This is our Canadian dollar coin. A special one was released for the Olympics.
And some commemorative gold medal stamps. These were issued to celebrate Canada’s first gold medal on home soil. My mom is an avid stamp collector and this was entirely appropriate to receive from her. Thanks mom!
A Booklet of Five Quilt patterns by Nancy Martin. I know they are all done up in red, white, and blue – which some of you may love. But all the designs would look great in other colourways too.

My go to gift last year – a friendship bag using Rachel Griffith’s tutorial.

A Green Bag Lady Bag. I received a second bag when I won mine at Christmas time. I may even include fabric for you to make another one to pass on.
Leave me a comment on this post. I’m on the hunt for a new stool to sit on while I’m at my sewing machine and wondering what other people sit on. Let me know what you sit on – or what you would recommend. This will give you one entry.
For a second chance – go to my “Choosing Colours” page by clicking on the tab in my top link bar. Updated to add: Sorry you can’t leave comments on that page – yet! I have to fix something it looks like. So instead, please take a look and leave a comment here about choosing colours for quilts. Thanks!
The giveaway will be open until Thursday, Feb. 25 at NOON, Eastern Time.
I will randomly pick from all the entries of people who leave comments about either post.
* If you are a ‘no reply blogger’ I will not include you in the drawing unless your comment includes an email to contact you.*
Thanks for celebrating with me!

With Joy,
Sarah Vee
