My mini spools leader-and-ender project slowed down a bit in October. I did more machine quilting in my quilting time than piecing. {that’s my excuse!}


Plus, I’ve started using one of my UFOs as a leader-and-ender project.

Halloween has come and gone again and still I am working on my Blackbird Design’s Halloween 1904. I have just started to work on the hsts. Here are some orange and tan ones. There are way more black and tan ones which I haven’t even started on yet – a good reason to start doing them as my leader and ender project!

I won’t be sewing the hsts onto the center of the blocks yet because the shelf I store the blocks on isn’t deep enough! 

Here’s the shelf with all of my supplies for this quilt on it. I plan to keep working away on this one and hopefully have it done for NEXT fall!
