Last week was my final week with this great PFAFF machine, their new Performance 5.2. It was soooo fun to quilt with this machine!
You can check out my review of the Performance 5.2 at QUILTsocial.com
For my last week of blogging with the Performance 5.2 I designed this patchwork table runner. It would make a great gift for the upcoming holidays!
The first post with fabric requirements is here.
Make the utensil handles and the churn dash platter in the second post.
I made the runner reversible using an allover print. I chose a binding fabric that would look good with both sides of the runner. The quilting is mostly echo quilting around the utensils. You can read about it more in this post.
I hope you enjoy the tutorial! Please feel free to leave comments on the posts over at QUILTsocial – and share them too!
With Joy,
Sarah V.
p.s. I made my debut on QUILTsocial last fall with my Curling Rocks Runner!
