I’ve been working on a present. This little purse is the result. It’s not perfect, it’s a prototype.

I tried to make something small for my niece whose birthday is today.

It’s my second attempt. And it will be late:)

I started out by deconstructing a sample of my Pockets of Love pillow cover.
It was a prototype too and wasn’t quite right.
I’d been thinking about what else I could do with it.

When in doubt, make a bag!
But this bag ended up a little big for my petite niece.

Maybe she still wants it?

My Pockets of Love pattern is still available in the February Issue of Quilt Pattern Magazine.
I’m thinking about putting it out myself, with the additional options for making these 2 bags – or something similar.
