Starting Fresh for Spring
I finally made time to make my April banner for the blog!
Working outside of the home has really challenged me to use my quilting time to my best advantage.
It has really made me think about why I blog and what I want to continue blogging about!

DESIGNING

I love designing new things. This liberated churn dash has been so much fun to create. The quilt is progressing nicely, though slowly, and I am so excited that it will live at my house on MY bed!

SHARING FRIENDSHIPS

I have been so fortunate to ‘meet’ so many talented, wonderful, giving quilters and fibre artists through my blog.

When I first started blogging I won lots of giveaways and really enjoy that aspect of blogging! Don’t you?!?;)

Now I am lucky enough to join other quilters in hosting giveaways. This pillow was the project I made using Kay Mackenzie’s newest applique book for Kay’s second Book-A-Round.

LEARNING NEW TECHNIQUES

Through blogging I discovered the Block Lotto last year. I have learned so many new techniques, and been very inspired by the other quilters who join in each month. The Block Lotto has helped me try new things without the pressure of making a whole quilt and, who knows, maybe I’ll win some blocks one day! I would love to win a set of this month’s Modern Clover. Check out the blog to see some creative settings quilters are playing with as they make their blocks for the month.
