My design wall this morning has a 15.5 inch liberated churn dash waiting for me. I am enjoying the discovery of different designs within each block which depend on fabric placement. For this one I’ve put the same blue in the centre of each corner triangle. Not sure yet what I’m going to do with the sides.

With my last large churn {30.5″ unfinished} I started to place my fabric strips on angles and it made me think of a ribbon wrapping around the block.

Trimming the large churn left me with lots of fun strings to play with too!
